    R2000 for DTG

Hello, I believe there are several routes that you can take to print logo on T-shirts namely DyeSublimation transfer, Screen Printing and DTG printing.
Transfer as the simplest solution, DTG as the most complex solution, and Screen Printing as the most economical for volume production.
Each method has variations and issues to solve.
You may want to look up T-shirt, Screenprinting and DIYDTG forum to gather requirements.

The DTG stands for direct to garment printing, or to put it simple you place a T-shirt on a carrier table that passes beneath the printer so you can print directly on the shirt. You can use this with your epson 7880c if you convert it to DTG printer. That means you must build the so called bedding with the mechanism and the carrier.

If you are a beginner at converting i would suggest that you rather buy an older model like R1800 because it has and older head which is much more cheaper than the DX5 head on the R2000 if you permanently clog it with white ink. Everyone who has converted some printers has burned at least one head. Use only Dupont ink and dont print one shirt in lets say two days but pick a day in lets say two weeks and print 20 shirts than clean the nozzles (for white) with alcohol after you done.

Well AcroRIP is certainly one of the best for t shirt printing, you can download it here on forum in the full software topic, but im not sure if the version 7.0.9 supports your printer. I will be downloading it in a few days, because i still have to collect 20 posts to be able to download it. I will let you know when i download.
