    Best Screening .. RIP ?

i tried numerous RIPs for fineart printing.. onyx, colorgate and EFI and wasatch.

they all have some advantages to the built in driver of my hps.. but!.. the screening is always worse.

which RIP has the best screening in ur opinion for inkjet printers with light inks

Colorgate has another screen called 'Chrispy' (you have to enable use older screens (something like that) in preferences to get to it.

It was the predecessor of the current Speed Screen. My guess is that it's actually better and they switched to Speed Screen to make rendering faster, at 'some' expense of quality; faster at 'about' the same quality they said.

    Newer ain't always better. <slow wink>

    Give it a try.
