Yep, Signa Station vote here too. In my company we use everything from Heidelberg. CTP, RIP, Imposition software, printing machines, etc.

    Which Impos?

Started using Preps which was v good. Now also using Quite Imposing 3 for short Digital print runs. Great for two sided stuff & book work.

Signa originally made by Linotype Hell and Preps originally made by Scenicsoft.
Around version 4.2 in the year 2002. Creo acquire Scenicsoft.
it's good to know that founder of Scenicsoft is founder of Lithotechnics, maker of Metrix

i like to know more about metrix is it there any metrix user?

    Kim 6.1

Krause Imposition Manager 6.1 is developed new features, and it seem easy use than Kodak Preps 6.1. Anyone try it?

Whats the best software to impost gang run cards and DL's?
Currently using indesign but would love something more automatic.

Only catch is sometimes the PDFs that im imposting have a number of designs per document on seperate pages, other times front and back of the card or flyer will be in seperate documents. havent seen any software out there that gets around this.

I vote for Signa Station (Heidelberg Prinect family). By far the best imposition software for professionals in printing industry. Good for bound publications books and magazines, for label and packaging industry, etc. Works perfectly when teamed with MetaDimension RIP, has a great folding animation feature, i could continue to write all day... Try it and see what I mean!

Kodak Preps might be a good alternative.
Imposition Studio by Dalimi soft. is OK for some simple jobs, for flyers, booklets, brochures, (small digital printers).
    Imposition Wizard also...
