    preps is better than signa
easy to install in the past signa run on next step after on NT with yellow box
preps is for mac and pc standar platform
for workflow trueflow and xmf are very simple to use

I prefer Preps. Dynostrip also not bad, but Preps is better.

preps is good, but version 6.1 seems too "heavy"?

I was a big fan of Dyna Strip when I worked at a small commercial printer a few years ago. Now I work at a slopshop gang run place and I use Indesign mostly but for books I use crackerjack or quite imposing. Your budget usually determines apps.

Yeah, Im using Indesign CS3 to print to hot holders for The AGFA Apogee system, works well. Bookwork is always a pain but the help of a few scripts and some creative use of the print booklet menu item usually always suffice. Its amazing what you can do with next to nothing and pretty quickly too. Just the mistakes, ah how can I make less of those?
