For eight years I have been working with defense had a great impression of the Sigma Heidelberg. It really does wonders. It is no wonder that the great German will dominate the industry.

I use SignaStation. A few years ago used Illustrator, Corel or Indesign.

I think Preps 5.3.3 is the best. Agfa Apogee 7 includes a module clled AgfaImpose with dynamic templates (like Metrix or Preps 6).

Depends on what your using it for I guess.

Signa and Preps are both good. Signa is a heidleberg product , Preps was originally made by creo and now owned by Kodak ..

For Digital Print. you can try Quite Imposing, Crackerjack (which now has an impose engine) . These are some of the more common products.

There are others related to specific Rips. EFI Fiery has a "Sequence Suite" (the new name for impose) which is very good for variable data imposition .

There is also a few scripts around the internet which will allow you to impose in Illustrator and Indesign.
