I know that it simulated work on x64 bit. It means XMF most modules work 32bit. You can see *32 icon near the modules at the Task Manager.

Only advance for the 64bit OS you can use more than 1 multi RIP on the same server and you can use all memory capacity of the Server with 64bit OS

Strangely enough even in their latest brochure the screen shots are from XP.

    32 o 64? it´s no the same

    Hello,
on 32 environment only will support 2 GB of Ram of ripping, that means slow processing capacity, other wise you can choose 64 bit, will it´s means the full buffer will be bigger, you will use 4Gb of RAM for Ripping process, my advice y have done in 2 servers, in one Dell 1800 with 2GB ram and in one Dell 1900 with 16GB ram, but the rip will used only 4GB for the process, 64 it´s about 10 times faster than the 32, but it will depend of the technology that you used, the Dell 1900 server is full compatible with all version of the XMF only you need to upgrade to SCSI 320 for the connection and Voila¡¡¡¡¡, you will have the XMF Running, Best 64bits so far so good, and XMF 4 is made multicore processing, that means it´s design to fly fast and fast,
    Pab.
