2 x HP LP2475w : I love them despite many issues (uneven backlighting, hue shifting, buggy display port) I returned them several times until I reveived decent ones but I'm quite happy now. Although wide gammut, calibration with unmodified i1 display2 is of no problem.

LG W2420R-BN : possibly one of the best displays in town, on par with Quato IP240ex or Eizo CG243w, but helluva discouraging hardware calibration and totally useless supplied spyder3 makes it a questionable choice.

The Eizo CG-series is the benchmark, also never had an issue quality-wise (the last LCDs still made in Japan). As an alternative I also use an old Barco CRT - still usable but LCD has come a long way.

Has anybody tried the Sony PVM Oleds? They seem to have incredible blacklevels and color range - but are they problematic due to burn-in like the first OLEDs?

I used to use a cheap $100 Full HD screen for simply PDF editing & ApogeeX work. I mean, a nice good LED IPS screen is great but as long as you don't have to see colours accurately, it's just a bonus you know? My new job involves adjusting colours and such which means I'll be getting a Dell LED IPS screen.

I am big fan of CRT displays. I never actually switched to LCD as it's way to expensive to get any kind of realistic colour. At this moment my no.1 display is GDM-F500 from Sony. It is very old monitor but then - it's still in perfect condition and offers full HD resolution so I'm perfectly happy with it.
