    Hi TheArtem,

    That was a hard part.
From my point of view, what happen behind this conversion of CIP3 data to the Ink Zone data is Heidelberg secret.....

Basically, the CIP3 data transfer to the console are the percentage of image and non image of the plates of the separations color.
These percentage are converted to opening of inkkey for every inkzone of the press using Print Characteristic curve inside the console of CP2000 or Press Center.

If you able to see the curve inside the menu of the console you can see the on the X axis is the image percentages and the Y axis is the DIO opening of the inkzone.

Other thing is that the curve is also depending on what hardware inside the opening of the inkkey, they called it the shoe glide (if I am not mistaken). there are different type of shoe glide on the press depend on the year of manufactured.

It is really hard to understand the way the process goes.....

    Hope can help.... Thanks

sm 102 1992 with job card

I have a sm 102 years 1992 1.02 with job card reader and not tape reader.
How i can do to write the card for this machine?
i have test with onmindrive usb and prepressinterface 4,5. I use this configuration with my little SM52-4 1.04 and i'm very happy.
But with this old press i write the card, but the 1.02 don't read the card format.
