Smile Is possible to define the pdf boxes from Adobe Illustrator?

    Hello, I have a question? :)

Can I to define the pdf boxes from Adobe Illustrator and export them to import only the selected Area?.

My question maybe complicated because I speak spanish.

I saw a file pdf, when I import this file on a page in Illustrator using "place" the program only show a part of the pdf, (not all), and I don't know how was made.

Something know the process how to define this area in Illustrator? some of my friends says "you need to create trim marks and with their, define the artbox,", the problem is I'm not how to do this :(

    Thanks :)

Each artboard will have a page in the PDF, with the trim box set to the size of the artboard. You can set a bleed in document setup to create a larger bleed box, but it is a single value for all artboards/pages. The crop box will be sized to fit any print marks added on export, otherwise it will be the same as the bleed or trim box. The art box will be sized to fit any objects inside the artboard.
