    Maybe

    Perhaps overpriced, but the number Pre-Press tool. I still think it should be standal tho. Acrobat crashy and bloated with adobe bloat.

    this tool helps me so many times in my job. So I think the pricing is high but ok.

    If you got 2-3 days for discussion with customers you do not need it.
    Before we got it, It was a misery working with pdfs.
    I can do this without pitstop, using only built-in function in Acrobat: Preflight

    generaly it is a good application
    if you have to deal with a lot of pdf files which is provided to you from outside- if you are not the creator of the pdf file- then it is a good choice
    but if deal with few jobs it will be a bit expensive

    Pitstop is invaluable when dealing with the randomness of client's supplied PDFs that I receive every day!

    Without it I would certainly have to throw back a large percentage of jobs to the client for fixes and tweaks, and these days clients just aren't interested in providing quality arrk anymore it seems.
