Foxit or Soda. I'd lean towards Foxit.

I guess it depends on what will you be using if for!

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro (but I need the full notes and comments feature).

On the other hand, I installed on my mother's computer Fox it Reader (waaaay lighter and quicker, but with less features).

And, finally, I personally believe that for "the common user" (those who just want to read a .pdf) with the Google Drive App, you shouldn't even install a .pdf reader on your computer.

I'll either use Sumatra, Foxit, or Acrobat Reader. The last makes makes me have to be very vigilant about updating. Sumatra and Foxit are portable, though, which helps immensely when I'm out in the field and need this capacity on a machine that may not have it (happens more often than not!)

On mac, my favorite is Skim, which is great for academic purposes (bookmarking, highlighting, etc). Preview does these, sure, but Skim puts these features front & center & is easier to use. When it comes to editing PDFs, you can't go wrong with PDFPen/PDFPen Pro.

With these 2 apps you can do pretty much everything Acrobat can do, much easier, faster, and of course, waayyyyy cheaper (Skim is free, I got PDFPen in a $20 bundle)!

Who too paranoid about acrobat security issue, using pdfX viewer (www.tracker-software.com) , foxit, nitropdf ...

Who want simple and trusted publisher and developer, just use acrobat from adobe.

Who want simple , portable, just use pdfX portable version, is small, portable than foxit portable
