You can try FlippingBook PDF Publisher,

It is very useful to convert PDF directly to flipping SWF book.

    if you have indesign...

If you have InDesign you can publish a flipbook swf directly from there (you can also make a PDF with other "powerpoint style" transitions). Just go to the pages menu (normally on the right side of the screen) and select a page (so the page number is selected). Right click and select "page transitions"... "flipbook" should be an option. Normally, you just select "apply to all pages" after that.

To publish as a swf, go to "export" in the file dropdown menu, and export as a "flash player (swf)."

You just get the flipping appearance. You will not have the following basic eBook functions: content searching, zoom in/out, bookmarks, page thumbnails, page jumping and customized interface.

It is why I prefer to use FlippingBook PDF Publisher to convert my PDF to SWF eBook.

I think that full ebooks can be a double-edged sword. They have a lot of functionality but it can be excessive, I think. However, I use flash to make client presentations, not mags, so that's my bias.

I've played with FlippingBook on my PC, but do 99.9% of my work on my mac, and I haven't seen a cracked mac version. The InDesign export is a very fast solution that I've found works much of the time. No one else mentioned it, and I know not everyone is aware of transitions in InDesign, so I thought I'd share it.

Another option is to convert the PDF to a JPG then import it to flash.

I like SWiSH myself. It can import and create a flipbook a lot easier than most Flash programs.
