    PDF overprint

    Hallo,

please can you help me with calculating OVERPRINT in pdf files. We have some "stupid" customers and they are not able turn on overprint preview in Acrobat and we must create some special pdf version where overprints must be visible without turning this Acrobat feature on. Do you have some automatic solution for this. I try a lot of things but without any success. Calculating transparencies is no problem, but for overprints i have now no idea.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Pdf/x

It's not a file setting but a system setting unfortunately.

The default is to always show overprint on PDF/X complaint files so that's where you should start

If for any reason you can't give them PDF/X files then they need to edit preferences - page display - use overprint preview to always enable overprint preview
