PDF line weight not the same as original document

A PDF generated from Quark 6 has different line weight in Acrobat X compared to the original document. But if the PDF is opened in Illustrator the correct line weights show. Anyone had this problem?

    Quark line weight: 0.9mm
    Acrobat (Pitstop) line weight: 0.04mm
    Illustrator line weight: 0.9mm

Heres a sample of the file. Opening in Acrobat and Illustrator will show different line widths.

That is very strange. Tried Pitstop 9 and 10 and even the rip picks it up as 0.04 line.

what’s strange about it then? it is 0.04 (or 0.06 since there are two line weights in your file).

0.04 is 0.04 on your rip, acrobat/preflight an also on mine.

    strange is 0.9 which i couldn’t reproduce.

    001:
    Measured in Acrobat 7
    line1: 0,08 mm = 0,227 pt
    line2: 0,054 mm = 0,153 pt

    002:
    - import your pdf in QUARK
    - export from there again as PDF
    What's the result?
