    Kodak Insite alternative

Hello, I am searching for an alternative software of Kodak Insite.

The features we are currently using on Insite are only two.

    1. We use Insite as an online platform where customers are sending us the PDF files.

    2. We are using Insite as a digital validation system. The clients check the final pdf and gives us final approval on the site.

We don't use the refine and preflight features of Insite, we are checking the PDFs manually by Acrobat. So we actually don't need the Evo on Insite, and there is no need to pay for so expensive software. I am searching for a cheaper software that will help us receive online validation of the PDFs. Or is it possible to buy a very limited version ot Insite that will do the work?

    Prinect Remote Access

The latest version is much improved with a booklet proofer and lots more bells and whistles. Give it a try.

    Thanks Dynamite.
I have already tested Prinect Remote Access, but I find it even less intuitive to use than InSite. I thimk Prinect is hard to use by end users(clients).

On the bright side I think than Prinect does not use java. That surely is advantage over Insite.

Ha ha, I would also agree with that, although they have worked hard on the Prinect 16 version to make it more user friendly, but I think they are still playing catch up with Insite.

    Good Luck

XMF Remote allows XMF Workflow users to offer their customers online job upload, pre-flighting, proofing and approval facilities. In addition to speeding up approvals and streamlining production, the additional convenience for the customer helps the printer to retain and expand the business.
