How to "embed" fonts in a Word document?

Hey, curious whether its possible to affix a particular font to a Word document. I know that with PDF files, the recipient does not need to have the documents font pre-installed it simply shows up on a recipient opening the PDF file sent. But can the same be d with Word files???

In the save options of Word there is an option to embed fonts.

However, you should be careful to remember that option (which might significantly increase file size, depending on the size of the fonts), as you might lose the embedding, if you open it on another computer, and don't check that option, when saving again.

Better save the word document as an pdf (Print into file/pdf) then you are much safer about the look-and-feel of your document.

    (else, tick the embed option)
