Question Help. Pdf supplied for print but page sizes vary

    Hi,

I have been supplied a pdf file for print (350 pages) and there are a mix of US letter and A4 sizes. Is there a quick automated way to change all the pages to A4?

    thanks

    print from acrobat

Another way besides PitStop which we use very often:
Print the file from acrobat and select 'Page Scaling: Fit to Printable Area'
(I also Recommend 'Auto Rotate and Center' to take care of any landscape pages in the file)
Make sure that the printers page size is set to A4 - you can see the page size in the print dialogs preview.
You can either print directly to your printer, or print to distiller and get a new PDF with the pages changed.

You could use a global change or an action list with pitstop

Qutie Imposing Plus 3.0 can make this... it is fast and can use it for IMPOSE work late.

    Bye bye

Just use the crop pages function in Acrobat Pro. Watch for uneven margins that may show up.

Which page size do you wish to standardize to? A4 will make the page longer and narrower potentially creating smaller margins on the letter-size page. If there is a small number of letter-sized pages, have them fixed at layout stage and resupplied and then replace them. Or vice versa if you go with letter size as your standard.
