    1. Quark - Adobe CS xx - Corel or other programm (see pass4press.com for good pdf file)
    2. Acrobat ver 9.xx with Pitstop.
    3. The Preps 5.3.3 or Preps 6.1
    4. EFI colorproof xf for hard proof for the printer
    4. The Rip programm of the machine for CTF or CTP (Density the film or the plate)
    And you have the best results on your job

    Prinergy of KODAK is really good, but Pitstop Server is a excelent tool too for preflight.

    I usually use Acrobat and Pitstop Preflight. They working good. I can't like prinergy's preflight.

    Dalim Twist normalizer.
    Really powerful software, and you can customize almost any option on the pdf exporter, so you can generate pdfs that will run on any rip, even really old ones. So it will work for every piece of hardware that you have in-house

    PDF preflight

    Use Pitstop to preflight PDF to check the follwing:

    1. IMAGE RESOLUTION
    2. UNINTENDED RGB
    3. SPOT COLORS
    4. FONT ISSUES
    5. WHITE ELEMENTS
    6. DEEP BLACK
    7. TRANSPARENCY
    8. LAYERS
    9. BLEED
    10. INK COVERAGE

    Screen Equios

    Screens Equios is the best total package IMHO.
    It has all the basic stuff, preflight (Pitstop server), Imposition on all clients and one of the best if not the best hybrid screening algorithm. Not to mention the fact that no limitation in user licenses. All sizes in imposition are free as well as the concurrent client count.
