    // Carbon Copy pages in the PDF file
    // IMPORTANT: Set Output Options to the filename you need

    // CHANGE THIS NUMBER: IT'S NUMBER OF ADDITIONAL COPIES
    var nNumCopies = 1; // make 1 additional copy(es) of each page

    try {

    var newName = this.path;
    var filename = newName.replace(".pdf","_Original.pdf"); // save a copy of original document
    this.saveAs(filename);

    var Num = this.numPages;
    var nNumDups = nNumCopies+1;

    for (var i = 0; i < Num; i++) {
    for (var j = 0; j < nNumCopies; j++) {
    k = i*nNumDups + j;
    this.insertPages({ nPage: k, cPath:newName, nStart:i });
    }
    }

    // set page labels: number each copy with a label
    for (var k = 0; k < this.numPages; k+= nNumDups)
    {
    this.setPageLabels(k,[ "D", "Copy ", 1]);
    }

    }
    catch(e)
    {
    app.alert(e);
    }

    Java Script for Acrobat

    Hello friend,

    very nice script,
    by the time I´m writing some other scripts for acrobat e.g. the dividing of pages, tiliing pages into *.001.pdf and so on. I prefer not the batch command I make Folderscripts that appears in the Acrobat Menu e.g. in edit or help menu.
    Are you also fit in writing acrobat plugins? So if you can we can do a nice project, I´m not able to write an acrobat plugin, but my java scripts are very good.
    kind regards
    MrApogee

    kukku.pappu: nice script. I think you should also mention that users need to enable javascript execution in Edit-Preferences-Javascript-Enable Acrobat Javascript. Because there were so many Acrobat Javascript vulnerabilites last year, antivirus vendors have several times recommended to turn off Javascript in Acrobat completely, so maybe not everyone has it switched on now. At least this is one of the most common problems for my users.

    Thanks and help!

    Thank you so much this looks to be the answer to help with so automation I'm looking to do with Acrobat.

    I'm looking to duplicate the pages in reverse order. Do you have any idea how to do this in the script? Basically I'm dealing with a two page PDF and I want the pages to duplicates from 2-1 so I can crop the first spread (which contains my back cover)
