    darwin - HP -

We use darwin to create 10,000 16 page brochure, and we want to print on a nexpress2500 or HP5500.
The idea is to print the page background in offset printing and NXP launch or HP as part varaible. To do this we need to make calls feeders
-for now I have no solutions on the NEXPRESS
-in contrast to HP, we make a hotfolder and we launch a file brochures.

I wonder if you have any further solutions?
    Can be VDX, PPML, VIPP!
Do you make calls feeder dynamics?

    Thank you to you
    Good luck to all.
    Cordially

    Hello cmjn.cmjn,

Sorry for the delay but I'm new in this forum.

You can do it on Nexpress with offset printed sheets and Dynamic Tray Pull, using Darwin.
It's working fine except if you have the version 11.2 of nexstation, you need to update it with a patch.
Following, the procedure to generate the file with Darwin:
    PDF and VDX annotations
This section describes the solution for the NexStation DFE, using VDX or PDF output file.
The user creates a file called “trayslist_pdf.txt” which serves any of the above formats. This file contains the description of the page annotations serially, page by page. Again, this file is stored next to the DVJ file.
Keywords that can be used in this file: cover, body, insert, insert2, insert3, insert4, insert5, insert6, insert7, insert8, insert9. Any other word used except the keywords will be considered as a comment and will be ignored. Please note that these keywords correspond to similar or identical keywords defined on the NexStation DFE GUI. Internally to the output format the annotation may include a stronger identifier.
Following is an example of file content. This may describe a duplex booklet, with front and back cover, and inside an insert followed by 4 body pages:
    cover
    cover
    insert
    insert
    body
    body
