    Why do we have to Add Watermark prior use Flatten Preview? I tried to use Flatten Preview once but it seem work nothing. That's why I wonder.

    Unless you are doing this for security reasons only , so no one could just grab and copy/paste your bodycopy I suggest to never ever do this watermark or any transparency flattener actions.

    DO NOT USE THIS FEATURE THIS WAY!

    The Transparency Flattener is just that - a way to flatten transparent objects. As such, it will do a variety of things to your PDF in the process of flattening that you may not wish it to do (object recompression, downsampling, etc.) to a non-flattened PDF.

    Conversion of text->outlines in late stage is NOT a recommended practice, which is why Adobe Acrobat does not offer the feature.

    you can curve it by Pitstop Inspector tool: select a word, open inspector window, select "font" menu and under a arrow you will have a "convert to outline". always works.

    Pitstop tools sometimes couldn't handle with curving non-embeded fonts, but Acrobat Flattener works fine in that cases.

    If you are using Acrobat X Pro, go to menu

    View->Tools->Pages->Watermark

    In Add Watermark window, as you can see in the image select text and add some space then keep the Opacity to 0%.

    Press OK

    After that run the Flatterner Prview

    View->Tools->Print Production->Flatterner Preview

    In the Flatterner Preview window, just tick the Convert All Text to Outlines and Convert All Strokes to Outlines

    Now you can select the page range and Apply.

    Very usefull, thanks a lot!
