    Creation of PDF

Well, I use InDesign for all my PDF requeriments. With all PDF choices built-in covers all that I want to PDF creation.

To edit PDF I use Illustrator, NitroPDF even Acrobat Pro.

The question here is, do you create PDF from scratch? Already built?

I think you're asking for trouble if you use anything other than Acrobat or Distiller.

i like generally Acrobat and Distiller, but I also can recommend http://www.priprinter.com/ The professional version has got some nice scripting features to automate some things.

What software are transferred PDF file, you need to install a virtual PDF printer (Acrobat),
As for the best software to generate PDF, you use abobe typesetting software now: Illustrator / InDesign are good, easy to edit!
