    Hello,

Famous hotfolder based solution is Alwan CMYK Optimizer, famous to be the most powerful solution with dynamic devicelink profiles.

GMG offers a solution as well.

Also, you have a limited options with Aco X to convert your colors and preserve your primaries, etc. of course, it's not a color server as such.

    Hope that helps

I did try Alwan CMYK Optimizer (Demo) before, however, I found it provides too many options that confuse the user like me.

Another thing is Alwan does not have its own Profiler, its LinkProfiler is accepting profiles from other creators – will it affect the color accuracies?

Alwan LinkProfiler is an ICC DeviceLink profile creator.
CMYK Optimizer creates different ICC devicelink profiles depending of each elements contained in your PDF files... therefore, it's more accurate. but lot of options, it's true.

PitStop can apply ICC DeviceLink profile, but of course, it's not dynamic like Alwan does.

    Hope that help.

You can take a look at Callas PDF Toolbox, which allows to apply Devicelink profiles to PDFs with hot folder or as standalone tool or plug-in for Acrobat.

    Thanks.

So just to clarify, with Callas PDF Toolbox, do I need the DeviceLink Add-On to apply my own devicelink profiles which I already have?
