Acrobat XI color rendering - soft proofing

color representation in acrobat XI differs from Acrobat X and that one differed from Acrobat 9! what are you all using for soft proofing?

try for yourself, change the display profile to any odd one out there, like pro photo or the likes to emphasize the effect. totally different display on same color settings. only acrobat 9 matches the photoshop rendering.

The color management in Acrobat X and XI is quite annoying, at least for me. Everytime I use Output (Separation) Preview I have to set correct color profiles although I have set them in preferences. Or is there any solution how to make Acrobat remember my color settings?

Regarding to soft proofing, I can tell about X only, not XI, but when I tried to validate hw calibration of my monitor, it gave me similar results using the same target in Acrobat X and in Photoshop. But I don't wanna say it necessarily means the color rendering is the same :o) Also comparing with some print-outs makes me believe that proofing in Acrobat X is generally usable for me... or I'm just too lazy :o)
