    5 type boxes in acrobat pro.

    hi there, here is a question. What is the difference for the 5 type boxed in AB? " Medium box, bleed box, trim box, art box, crop box". where can they be used?

    I love printroot.

    Really interesting site Prepressure.com, also I found others interesting references to developers
    1. from Scribus: http://bugs.scribus.net/view.php?id=1041
    2. from Apple: https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#documentation/GraphicsImaging/Reference/CGPDFDocument/Reference/reference.html

    Any way you've just answer the question ;1

    The trimbox will take indicate the final cut size. e.g.

    Trimbox = 210mm x 297mm (-7.408mm t,b,l&r)
    Cropbox = 224.82mm x 311.82mm
    Bleed box with standard 3mm bleed all the way round will = 216mm x 303mm (-4.408mm t,b,l&r)

    If the pdf has been flattend in say photoshop (with bleeds and marks) or the crops and bleed are added on quite imposing plus 3 for example. the trimbox and bleedbox measurements will not be recognised as these layers have been removed.
