    Good deal

The good deal is to buy the I1Display pro and copy (:-) SpectraviewII if you have a NEC or basICColor display.

The best deal is to buy the NEC Puck but if you if you change your screen for an Eizo you'll have to buy another puck.

And make your printer profiles from the WEB (ex : www.drycreekphoto.com)

If the monitor comes with a software I usually use that, but to any monitor I use either i1 Profiler or ORIS certified monitor. Certified monitor is really meant to check your monitor but it has a calibration software included and it makes pretty good profiles.

In my experience ColorEyes gives a more thorough set of colour patches, but often comes out less accurate than i1match. Also try Quato iColor.

HCFR is good for manual adjustments rather than LUT/Matrix auto calibrations. Although it doesnt have CIE94. So you have to use a calculator.
