What kind of media you use for proofing

What kind of media (paper) you use for proofing if u r using an Epson printer for proofing?

e.g. EPSON Standard Proofing Paper? or some other semi-mat paper?

[QUOTE=kamilo1973;5474]What kind of media (paper) you use for proofing if u r using an Epson printer for proofing?

    Efi proofing media like:
    - Efi Gravure Proof (Certified Press Proof) Paper 4245 Semimatt (245 g/m²)
    - Efi CertProof Paper 6225XF Semimatt (225 g/m²)

Efi papers are available in many different sheet formats and roll sizes - maybe widest offer on the market.

GMG proofpapers are top-quality and I preffer semi-matt surfaces for everyday hard-copy-proof.

GMG Semimatte 250gsm is a good media to print and simulate matte finish proofs. Opaque White is an excellent media for proofs made to simulate pearlised substrates. The gamut on this is also much wider compared to other substrates. It's a little bit expensive compare to semimatte. gmg is to supply it earlier, but they have stopped due to lack of demand. There are other supplier's produce similar substrates.

GMG Semimatte 250 and Gloss 250 is a good media for proofing, but I believe the EFI Semiatee 250 also good. the most important to have the consistence source that you have being profile with your printer.

Otherwise no matter what media, it's will be fail, of course, the gamut must be bigger than your target profile.
