I1profiler is running directly on OSX. I used Monaco profiler but from 10.7 is not supported. I'm running Monaco on Virtual Win under Wmware Fusion.

unless you are using a PPC mac, you should be able to run the PC version of any software as well--

profilemaker pro works on mac, monacoprofiler works on mac, i1profiler, and BasiCColor print-- pretty much everything you can get for pc works on mac. For a free solution there is argyllCMS

exactly as momo says... for exactly which device are you wanting to create profiles?

It's just the same if you asked what's the best [anything]? What's the best car? What's the best TV or speaker system or monitor or anything at all?? It's just such an open ended question that it is absolutely impossible to give any sort of meaningful answer.

I'm not trying to belittle you or trying to offend you at all, I'm just saying without a great deal more info/details, it isn't possible to answer your question.

    Hello,

I am working on a mac and I am going crazy to find a program which enables me to create abstract profiles to tweak colors in certain images.

ColorThink Pro 3 enables you to create abstract profiles but you already need to have some other profiles, so basically, for me it's useless...

Now I am experimenting with Profile Editor 5.0 but it's driving me crazy and I do not really understand which kind of profile am I creating...!?

If anybody can help! Thank you!

Surely you're just joking, right? What, in your opinion, is PMP best at, what exactly? It certainly doesn't make the best monitor profiles, far from the best, for sure. Same goes for the printer profiles, especially when compared with the almost a decade newer i1Profiler or BasICColor Print or even the (now reasonably old) MonacoPROFILER. I've never made a scanner profile, but I'm sure there must be better scanner profiling apps and that just leaves digicam profiles, again, which many other programs have surpassed the abilities of PMP.

I'm just very curious to know why you think and would say that PMP is the best profiling app for anything, Mac, PC, or any device? It's just so old and has been surpassed in so many ways by so many different companies and applications.

    Just my 2cents worth.

    Hello Every One !!!
I utilized Monaco profile but from 10.7 is not underpinned. profile maker star deals with mac, nonprofessional deals with mac, i1profiler, and Basic color print--basically all items you can get for PC takes a shot at mac. It's notwithstanding in the event that you asked what's the best [anything]? What's the best auto? What's the best TV .
