Suggest calibration program for 27" iMac + Lion + DTP-94

I have a 27" iMac, OS X Lion and the DTP-94 colorimeter. I have been using Coloreyes Display pro but need to boot off a firewire drive with Snow Leopard to run it without errors. Have not tried the latest version of that program yet but I understand from their forums there are still limitations in its use on Lion.

Can anyone recommend a good calibration program for this situation? Links would be awesome!!!

Smile Monitor Profiling Software Opensource for Mac and Lion

    Hi there,
here are two links for Profiling Software that is supported under Lion:

    http://hoech.net/dispcalGUI/

    http://www.xritephoto.com/ph_product_overview.aspx?ID=1933&Action=support&So ftwareID=1139

Hope this helps and is not obsolete, because you already found something else.

    Thanks for the reply.

I've tried dispcalGUI but just could not get a handle on it no matter how many sites I searched for help.

The Xrite link is broken. I had given up on their supporting my DTP-94 years ago...

try the blue eye pro software-- ive used it on an imac before with great result:

download the updater then just right click the installer and "show package contents" and somewhere in one of the folders you will find the actual app itself-- you can just drag this out and use it straight away, so serials, no nothing... its bizzare, i guess the installer itself must be checking for an older version, but the full thing is in there buried in the installer

help you calibrate the monitor, first by guide you to make the necessary adjustments (in iMac case only brightness level) & finally building a profile for it & configuring the OS to use it.

we use these since 2009 without any problem.
it has also comes with direct color calibration on our heidelberg, komori machines.
the question was about a Lion compatible software which means a universal binary, not PPC.
