    The best software is one you know how to properly use, and the one that best fits in your workflow. All above mentioned software packages will work fine, you just have to try them to test what works best for your setup.

    You can use whatever RIP, but if you need exact spot color reproduction, the Rendering Intent will make to miss 1% or 2% of possible perfect matching. Use a tool like Atlas2 for the finetuning:

    GMG is the best, but I1PROFILER is user friendly and cheaper

    EFI, GMG, and ORIS are all going to do a good job, and there are agruments for each one. The big difference with EFI is most operators in the department can learn to manage jobs, workflows, and profiles pretty easily. The others are not very user friendly when you want to make changes, and generally require a visit from the dealer or consultant.

    I use Epson 7880 with Efi 3.0 i think the best, i never had problems
