1. Take a look at http://www.printroot.com/forum/f29/ipa-idealliance-2010-ink-optimization-roundup-3170/"]IPA + IDEAlliance 2010 Ink Optimization Roundup – an independent technical evaluation of ink optimization press technologies. This report will help to make your own choice of software.
2. Try out software available here (for testing only): Alwan CMYKOptimizer v3.5.3 or InkSave option of AGFA ApogeeX v5. Both were used during Ink Optimization Roundup.
3. A little bit of useful information about creating and quality assessment of DLP available in RIT's Test Target #5: "Device link profiling".

Full Software forum are part of PRC, to be able to see a link you have to be a PRC member. If you still have not full access to PRC forums, perhaps you have not yet got 20 useful posts (in accordance to rules). I can assume that the decision to change your status takes the site administrator, because the software can not determine whether your 29 post was useful or not. Just Be patient.

For v3.5.3 posted in my thread there is no way to run it without dongle nor demo code! But... there is a workaround to reset demo. With this solution the application will work only in certain range of dates (demo code). This imposes some inconveniences - it's hard to use statistics, history in web interface, etc.

Very interesting... and less expensive than buying all the solutions and testing them one by one
Thank you
