    profiling

Hi please can some help! I am trying to profile a 7 colour LFP using either Monaco or ProfileMaker5. I have had some success with Monaco but somtimes when i create a profile and print images with white backgrouds it prints yellow?

I then wanted to try Profilemaker but when i create the swatches in measure tool and then bring them into Wasatch it shows the colours as greyscale? i cannot get the RIP to see the created swatches correctly. Any know what the problem might be?

    Thanks

What Colorimetric Intent did you set in the Color Transform of your RIP? Also disable Color Transform when printing the color swatches for profiling.

I set the intent to relative colorimetric, in wasatch I am not sure how to disable the color transforms completely. Normally you have to do a linearization first in wasatch, once that is looking good then you can import the swatches for profiling. The swatches from Monaco work fine but when I scan and create the Icc profile and load it into wasatch it prints yellow backgrounds. So I wanted to try use profile maker but I create swatches in measure tool and bring those into wasatch but they preview as grey and print the same! Not sure if I need a newer version of profile maker? I have version 5, Monaco 4.5 and wasatch 7 softrip tx version with dongle.

I think the mistake is when you created the profile, you selected "neutral gray" instead of "paper gray" (or "paper white").
Otherwise, it's the colorimetric intent which is false, select "perceptual" (best for me)
