    Pant 130C and PMS 130

    Pant 130C and PMS 130 are different or the same. Anybody know?

    Pant 130 refers to an ink formulation. Pant 130C is the colour of that ink printed on coated paper. If you are specifying a colour for full colour printing or web then you must include the C (as there is also U/CV/UV etc.) If you are specifying the ink to use for spot colour printing then just the number is sufficient.

    Yes the C is important as it refers to using the ink for Coated stocks.

    But is there any different between Pant 130C and PMS 130.

    130 is the general colour, but 130C is the coated formula. PMS and Pant are just abbreviations for the Pant colour system. C/U/CV/UV exists because a given ink formula appears differently on different paper.
