you're right, i've just reported some of his posts too, it's the only action to deal with this sort of user.

in the EFI thread he simply wrote 'trying to download this'

Aaaaaaaaaaand? what do we have to do with the fact that he's trying to download whatever?

it's a total lack of respect for everyone just because he decided he needed to have 100 posts to have access to certain downloads...

    cheers

    i1 profiler 1.7.1 not licenced

    Hi,
thanxx for downloading i1 profiler!; however, i1 diagnostic states, there is no license for it.
So not for printer, monitor etc profiling.
I ask this, because I have troubles with my epson wt7900 network printer ; i1 profiler does recognise the printer, but fails to print (the charts).
When saving charts to file and printing them in Mirage, scanning them afterwards in i1 Profiler, it's giving a failure message.( continuous)
So, I'm stuck here, and don't know how to make profiles for my printer now..
Can you help me out here; is there a serial or license needed afterall??
    Thankx for answering

    i1profiler and rip

    hi Spider,
    thanx for answering!
My problem is, i do have cmyk wt7900 printer, so, have to make cmyk profile.
Printer goes over rip, but there is no problem with the output of charts .
I did buy an used i1pro, because epson and dinax mirage said, i1pro is compatible with printer and rip.
Now, that I,m getting measuring errors all the time, i think, maybe the i1pro is defective, although i1profiler analitics say, the i1pro is functioning fine.
So, i have some charts printed, but then, i,m stuck because of measuring errors.
Question is, is it the software or the hardware?
So now, im changing plans, and prepare to do it all in profilemaker 5 , but im a novice there
