how can we read a letter ECI2002 with Argyll?

Hello friends, I would like to know how we can read a letter patch, ECI or IT8, with software Argyll.

After breaking my head and many hours of testing I have successful in generating an ICC profile with colormunki spectrometer, for my sublimation plotter with good results but using the patches automatically generated Argyll to me.

I hope your answers and if possible indicate commands and parameters have you used for your profiles generated with Argyll

    Best Regards

    David

If you want to use standard test charts with argyll, you can use the txt2ti3.exe to convert any measurement files created by other chart reading programs.

If you want to make a ti2 file to create your own test chart with the same values as standard this can do this as well.

I use the Fogra standards a lot for my work, I could send you a ti1 file that I made using excell which has the same CMYK values as the new standards.

    Happy to help...

What standard are you trying to match?
Do you have characterisation data, are you trying to match Fogra of GRACol standards.

IF you are I can make a ti1 file for you with the same cmyk values.

    Forgot...

I use many different types of Rips.
Caldera, Color-tuner, ColorGate, Onyx, GMG, Black Magic, Ergo Soft and Versa Works, whatever my customers are using.
If I was to buy a rip, I would buy Caldera.
