Founder QuiQ for Océ CPS print controller is an easy-to-use automated workflow
designed for Océ CPS 800 and 900 printers. It is developed and based on Founder’s
renowned proprietary RIP technology and integrates the latest core technologies
from the company. High-speed multi-threaded control of the print engine ensures
high productivity in any environment.
Founder’s RIP technology delivers smooth and sharp line-work and text in addition
to exquisite image levels, smooth gradient shading and true color reproduction
through color management, excellent RGB support and Pantone color support.
Based on Client-Server architecture, DTP clients in LAN can submit jobs directly to
QuiQ controller server, which controls the print engine of QuiQ to perform high
quality outputs. DTP clients can also print jobs directly from layout or other
applications, or just drag and drop jobs to QuiQ’s hot folder.
QuiQ provides a stand-alone client application for end users. From these clients,
user can submit jobs, modify printing parameters, monitor and manage job queues,
preview pages before print, color optimization and control QuiQ printer and more.
This stand-alone application is called the Client, which is able to run on Windows
and Macintosh operating systems.
The QuiQ controller server, as we called the Server Tool, is a background
application, which can respond commands from clients, coordinate RIP and other
components, manage jobs submitted by clients, control printer device, etc. Besides
these background features, there are also some tools running on the Server Tool.
With these tools, users can do maintenance, enhancement, color management,
network connection, etc.
