    Fine Art Print Profile

    Hi,

What profile are you using to get the best color accuracy in fine art reproduction, AdobeRGB1998 or keep the default sRGB standard ?

    Cheers,

Adobe 1998 gives a larger colour gamut.

    Not Adobe TGB 1998

    You must use ProPhoto RGB.
Now it is the standard for large gamut devices.

I agree that ProPhoto is the most appropriate color space to use. But read up on the subject - using a color space that has a much larger gamut than any printing process can actually reproduce, introduces difficulties and issues that you need to understand before you can resolve them. (Not enough space here!).

I recommend Real World Color Management 2nd Edition (Fraser, Murphy and Bunting) - rather out of date as regards software (and even hardware) but still a valuable reference.
