Hi all-- I'm new here but I can say at this point that I have extensive knowledge of the EFI fieryXF/ColorProofXF system (i'm still learning new things every day) but if anyone needs any help with proofing/profiling i'm game--

    your help is highly appreciated!!

i, too have extensive knowledge now i would say.. but EFI is about learning every day!! haha

i realized something after 3 hours that might be of interest.

when you have a multi page pdf and use dynamic wedge... you cannot optimize the profile! although it acts like.. nothing happens!

if you only print ONE page from it with the same wedge.. THAN you can optimize and afterwards print the whole nesting with this .3cc

    Hi experts!

    A question:

from one-bit separations with pantone inks how can I define the ink-order?
(im afraid it is not possible.... :)

i assume you are talking about overprint setup? I believe this would be defined in whatever application you are using to create the file you are printing-- (such as inDesign)...

but using 1-bit files is the only area of EFI in which I do not have much experience..
