    Creating ICC profiles

    Hi
How to recommend a program for creating ICC profiles?
    Basiccolor, ProfileMaker, CoPrA?

    Greetings,
    Lovecraft

Iprofiler some functions are not present comparing to profile maker, but fast patch reading, user friendly and fast.

    Hi guys!

Anyone has a patch for i1Profiler?
Someone using a 'full' version of Basiccolor Print for Windows?

I'm looking for it some time ago with no luck.

I'll be very happy someone could help me.

    Thanks so much!

    Hello riscar,

You may also try ColorLogic CoPrA. In comparison with basICColor Print it gives you quite similar results in terms of profile smoothness and colorimetric accuracy. In addition it also has a bit more options, for example, you may use spectrum values of a real illuminant instead of using standard D50.

Just to note, basICColor print uses ColorLogic's CrossXColor technology.

You may use CoPrA with demo license for 30 days. Demo license can be obtained quite easy - directly from within the app.

There is also a workaround how to get new demo license after 30 days (search the forum).

If you are not frightened working with command line interface, you may look at ArgyllCMS. It's free and very powerfull set of tools!
    Cheers,
    CW

    Thank you very much ColorWizard!

    Be sure i'll try CoPra.

I've tried Monaco and Profile Maker previously but they doesn't convince me in quality terms.

My suggestion is i1Publish Pro 2 – in my opinion the most professional solution ...
