    Complete profiling Tool

    Hi all,
I search for a program can create a ICC Profiles and have this functions like the color profile wizard in Flexi Sign 8.5.
    Read density and chroma
Ink Limit (print patch and adjust)
    Linearization (print and Read Patches)
Multi-ink Limits (print patch and adjust)
Gray Balance (print and Read Patches)
    Characterization (print and Read Patches)
ICC generation (compatible with the all versions)

Is this possible in one tool?
    Thanks!!!

I think your request are too complex and the question of calibration or optimalization of some printing process is something different than generate ICC profile.

Using 2 or 3 independent tools is more easy way I think.

I think Heidelberg Color Toolbox and Agfa Apogee Color (ColorTune) are very interesting sets of tools for print quality check or measurements and ICC profiles!
... but both works on Windows only (Im Mac-oriented user

Hi Neowolf, can you tell us what you're trying to accomplish, what equipment you're using, and what workflow or RIP you have? Different tools for different jobs... not every task requires a hammer, you know?

Is a profiling service. I go to the client with my laptop and my I1 pro UV and profile the client program can be Wasatch , Flexi , ect... and profile the client printer.

Have you tried Heidelberg ColorTool 3.5 or 2010?

Question I have profile maker 5

But in profile maker 5 the only way to linearized is a post characterize.
    How you profiling with linearized?
and is correct linearized after profiling?
    Thanks

you can be done profiling on Flexi like me but the profile is just 1 profile for 1 printer + 1 print setting + 1 material

you have to do the same for all material & print setup.

I don't think you're ever going to find a "complete" profiling solution. Most rips will do a far better job of inklimiting and linearizing output than you'll be able to accomplish with just ICC profiling software. I think the best route is finding a good RIP with the functions you need AND also has a decent profiling engine.

It is correct but only when done in ProfileMaker Pro 5.x because it is completely different from the "usual" type of linearization which is performed before profiling. The post-linearization in PMP is used for things like printing press & similar for when they have changed slightly from the time the profile was created. The post-linearization takes into account whatever has changed & creates a new profile (as in it updates the original & re-creates it).

    MonacoProfiler

    I use MonacoProfiler.
You can make linearization before you make any profile!
