The Samsung Monitors are the best in my opinion. I now have a Syncmaster 2443 and a Syncmaster 245BW.

If you are on a budget, try the 24" SyncMaster S24A450BW at BestBuy.com @ $282.99

The i use and i am really happy with it is the Asus PA248QJ. First thing to do is to choose a good panel. Normal panels are TN (Twisted Neumatic). Monitors with this panels are cheap, big, etc... but the vision angles and uniformity are awful. Are good for a normal office work like edit documents etc. For graphic purposes must choose other technology like IPS panels (In Switch Panel). The best vaule price that i found around was the PA248QJ from Asus. I used to have Eizo monitors and they are great but for the price of those i have PA248QJ. You will be amazed of the quality of this . I also have IPS panel based monitor from Dell but compared to the Asus i was surprise of the quality jump. Hope this helps because thereĀ“s a lot for discuss about monitors. The LED is just the kind of ilumination that they use. Of course choose a LED , much less power comsumption.
