    Try and borrow a meter. Or sell it after you buy it. Your eyes will only give you the confidence of a placebo and once you realise how your perception changes depending on a zillion factors, eg non screen lighting in the room, you realise you are going to get nowhere... slowly. It doesnt mean much to find primaries if your curves on the way are completely crooked. Borrow a meter.

    To print output I use this one .csf profile created by my professor who teaches me digital printing.
    It is designed so that 98% corresponded to the color monitor subsequent CMYK print output. Definetly have to reckon with the fact that the monitor is slightly lighter.

    Just for the record, it is managed for european printers so i can't tell how it works with american printers etc.
