I use Profilemaker Pro 5, and it hasn't let me down in 6 years.

    Thanks

Laser printer need to be consistently calibrated. Be sure to print your profiling target right after you calibrate.

Unfortunately in presence of of figures such as flexo "island" or "spike" a fairly common occurrence. In the case of Profilemaker had to correct such errors in Notepad, which is not very convenient. The presence of such figures will inevitably lead to serious errors of interpolation of the CMS. As a rule these figures can be found in the blue zone.

My personal vote goes to ProfileMaker. I have been using this for 2 years now and it has been a great experience. No matter what hardware (photospectro) you must learn to tweak your profiles on a regular basis. ProfileMaker is one of the best profiling software around in my personal opinion.

I vote for Prinect Color Tools.
It have iteration function to the profile to make the proof closer to the press, and also have a closed loop calibration so you can evaluate the trend of the press deviation in colors and mechanical dot gain (for sure that some color patches need to be on the press sheet to be analyze...)
