I use Founder EagleProof. It's cheap and easy to use. And we get reliable contract proofs all the time.

For flexo I use ESKO Flexproof with kaleidoscope for screened and unscreened proofs. Proofs are printed on the Epson Stylus Pro 4880 and the results are excellent.
I am very satisfied with this configuration.

For CMYK images to restore, these digital proofing software capabilities are similar, but for spot color reduction, this is a big difference a few software, and some open, some closed, some have screen soft proofing function, easy operation is also inconsistent, in general are little different.

In my opinion! If you have CTP and Press, GMG is better! If you are only output to inkject printer EFI is more friendly!

Well I just tried i1profiler, it has best gray-scale out of all other software solutions i have tried.

But somehow the print from profile made by Profile Maker 5 is still better and more natural. Perhaps i1Profiler changes not only grayscale but also reduces black level? My prints using i1profiler profiles seem more light than other way around.

I tried to adjust contrast, but it makes no difference at all.

Using Canon Pro9000, Inktec ink, Lomond glossy paper here

    colour management

I think your "workflow" must do color management and not gmg or efi or someone else. All these external programs work through hotfolders. When you will start to receive 1000's of files per day with different printing conditions you will imagine - this is sh*t. Its good for small print shop though, but to expensive for small.
With gmg or efi or colortool you just create right icc or device link profiles, and then workflow must take care of it all.

    Color Management SYSTEM

System is a group of components working together as a whole to achieve a common goal.

Color management can't be achieved with a purchase of a RIP or a profiling tool. Those are just some of the essential elements that makes up the process.

I try boot and the best is GMG.
    Black point: slow and expensive.

    Is anybody using CromaNetCS?

It's a software that has been used with DuPont Largo, B2, etc.

Now it can also be used with Epson printers.

    Check it out.
