Question Best book for general color proofing?

Hello there!
I'm searching for a book that speaks about color proofing.
I've a little bit of experience in that but I lack the basic theory.
There's somebody that knows a good book for this?
Thanks!

Exclamation errata corrige

In the first post I talk about "color proofing" but I made a mistake caused by the short time I had available those days...
...sorry I'm italian
I search a book or guide about "color profiling" using spectrophotometer.
I normally use a Barbieri Spectro LFP-RT, for profiling on digital printing media.
I work on GrandRIP+ Suite and I use EasyMedia to make profiles.
Has nobody here experiences in this field?
Thanks a lot right now!
