    esko still releases new builds (currently v14.1.1 build 123) and works on its successor artpro+ (currently v16.0.0.58) which works on win and mac platforms to replace artpro and packedge in the future!

    I'm using Artpro 12.1 It's very usefull for prepress packaging but someone does't like it. They like Illustrator.

    Because you are editing PDF files only.
    ArtPro is famous in flexography oriented companies as is super useful in editing PDF files.
    Illustrator is a design software witch you can also edit a pdf file and in carton packaging industry is more user friendly as you edit ".ai, .eps, .pdf" etc files.

    Artpro+ VS PackZ

    Anyone has compared both pdf's editor ?
    It sounds like PackZ has newer technology (true 64) than Artpro+
    Any comparative will be welcome!
    (but not just oficial advertising =] )

    how can you compare a project in early development stages with limited functionality called artpro+ with a full blown application like packz 4.0???

    its like comparing a volkswagen with a porsche!

    Artpro is expensive but good for repro. trapping, prefight is good
