it's a big advantage, of course. But very much want to have further fast solution for creating 3D models from 2D.

Or, you are absolutely right: I would like to have smth like in Artios 3D Designer or ArtPro PowerWarp "slices", when I just draw 3-d projection near 2D and program do the rest.

The idea is on screenshot below: you have to create separate layer(s) with cross sections of an object (even asymmetrical) aligned with their vertical positions and (optionally) warped graphics.

P.S. Layers names have to be exactly the same as in example.

Yes, but for viewing only -- it's impossible to make precompensation for this kind of models.
    Look for "slices" in GridWarp.

To pre-distort sleeve artwork with Esko solution all you need is Studio Designer, Studio Toolkit for Shrink Sleeves and Studio Visualizer. All up $25K+!

Without any software, you can print scale onto shrink film and then make sleeve from it. Then you put a sleeve in the bottle you want and shrink the sleeve with heat and then you can measure the scale you print. Then, you will know how much distortion.

First you will need a CAD of the bottle you want to wrap ( you can always draw ), export the general shape from AI to artpro make a grid and distort with that grid.
Their is a version of Artpro 7.5 revision 4 floating round that you can use to make those distortion, its an unstable version that crashes allot, I recommend you save very often.

This video shows you how to do your setup, their are differences from the version showed to version 7.4
but I'm sure you can figure it out
