This will be very interesting to follow in the near future.
Let's hope it's a positive development for Esko.

I hope they won't change their trademark again, we're starting to have too many sotware and hardware manufactured by "dead" companies...

Let you take in mind that there was time when Esko bought Enfocus... Artworks... And Artworks bought (?) Barko...

Like Gretag bought Sequel... And, after this, X-Rite bought Gretag... And as result - the monitor calibrators have a similar "HW" base and various names according to OEM.

    Yeah!
Quality and usability is a history!
Shareholders and money in first place!

Adobe need 10 years to make perspective grid like Freehand and say NEW feature in CS5

    Artioscad

maybe they will do something with Artios - like split it as a for designers with 3d visualizer and for manufacturers with strong macros to simplify die making proceses.
because now it is begining to be a big fat application for everyone - and very unstable.
I don't know any other soft - that crushes as many times as Artios. Maybe new owners will send it's baby for a diet to loose some weight.

However the development team remains the same, so let's hope that the fact of selling will be good for all of us

It would be good to bring some "fresh wind" in Esko products for better usability

But they will go up in any way.
One thing let me hope for the better: new owner is not a just money-making company.
Maybe it will hear tech side of the EA, not only sales people.
