    Custom N-Channel Image Separations

Are there any straight forward methods of creating custom separation channels for full colour images?

Sure there is...mask, select, cut and paste, per colour, per channel.

    It's not so easy
    You need:
    1. Gray balance in channels mix
    2. Wide gamut in mix
    3. you have to know the transparencies of your channels (inks)
    4. and so on

    Mac OS+ ICISS ?

    Colour Separations

Yes!!!..Mac OS+ ICISS is a great way to start.
Your other option is to buy, a very inexpensive halft transparent color wheel. The proof is in the pudding....

I think the best is to create a multi-channel profil in profilemaker, then simplyconvert to profile
