AP10 is really nice I have been using it since the middle of February. I really like the nifty new trapping tools. The really fun one is the interactive trapping too that lets you click one object and then click the next object and creates the trap!

I would stay away from using live fonts in ArtPro seems to get messy.

Illustrator and ArtPro have a symbiotic relationship, they work well in harmony with each other.

No, Visualizer is not included in AP.
But you have the studio designer with output to 3d pdf.

I am curios. As I have only ever user illutrator.
Artpro and Packedge is software developed for pre-press.
Illustrator is a design tool. With plugins it can be a very good pre-press tool.
But the difference is as big as between a sports car and a F1.

Take time to evaluate these alternatives and drive yourself the future
As i know from Chinese DTP forum PaSharp has a issue with a Esko patent (DeskPack)
I my company we use Esko Suite 10 and as i see in PaShapr demos is like a clone od Esko DeskPack solutions+some new things. In my opinion it is better to pay more for soft, than have a problem with no support if Esko wins patent war (in EU - China is like wildland with no respect of intellectual property so i know that PaSharp will be safe in China).

    Ps. sorry for my english
